Supporting Other Non-Profit Organizations
In addition to our endeavors designed to increase the number of college graduates, Lifting As We Climb creates opportunities to support other nonprofit organizations in communities along the East Coast.
In 2015, Lifting As We Climb provided support in its home community of Charlotte, North Carolina to two meaningful groups:
Angel In Disguise, Inc. – an organization that focuses on breast cancer survivors and their families to aid them with lifestyle changes and hope
Alzheimer’s Association – Western North Carolina Chapter – supporting Bill Scurry in his Walk To End Alzheimers in honor of his mother, who succumbed to the disease.
